| Name:OceanB333 | Comment: This hotel/B&B is excellent. Very reasonably priced! The grounds are stunning with hibiscus, tropical plants, flowers, all sorts of palms and vegetation. Stone walkways lead to various 2-storey bungalows and there are also hotel style rooms. Interesting paint and design scene inside. Orthopedic mattresses and pillows. Swim up bar/sushi place. Heavenly pool. If you are a discerning traveler and looking for a 5 star hotel, this would not be for you. If, however, you wish to enjoy this quiet, serene and basic property and do not mind a few ants (there are tiny ants all over the place in hotels/motels/businesses/homes, not just here) and do not mind seeing a gecko on your wall, then this place will suit you well. The complementary breakfast of fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice, toast and coffee is excellent, served from 0700 to 1000 in a beautiful outdoor setting (or you can also sit inside. Very friendly staff, cats, and a few dogs. The bungalows have A/C both upstairs in the loft area (which has 2 or 3 single twin beds) as well as downstairs in the partial bedroom (queen size bed). The hotel is gated and surrounded by fence, however at no time did we feel unsafe, even walking around in Tamarindo. The bungalows also have a microve, small stove, fridge with dishes and cutlery. Free wireless in rooms and bungalows, everywhere on the property. Sun deck partially above the pool and each bungalow has its own patio sitting area. Pictures to be posted. I would return here in a heartbeat, and I am not a fan of bugs, however as I mentioned, the little ants are harmless. Awake to the beautiful sounds of various birds, listen to them as you sun. This hotel and property is absolutely fantastic! I do not want to leave! |

EACH HAS A KITCHEN AND YOUR HOSTS ARE ITALIANS SO THEY ARE ¨NICE´ KITCHENS WITH THE APPLIANCES AND TOOLS YOU'LL NEED TO ACTUALLY COOK REAL MEALS.
